Yes — completely free. No charge to drop off your cannabis packaging at any Recycling is Dope location. Just bring your empties and drop them in the bin.
Do I need to clean the packaging first?+
Just empty it — no need to wash or scrub. Remove any remaining product and you're good to go.
Can I bring packaging from any store or brand?+
Yes — you don't need to have bought your cannabis at that store. Any cannabis packaging from any licensed brand is accepted. The bin is for the whole community.
What happens after I drop it off?+
Your packaging is collected, transported through our logistics partners, and diverted from landfill. We work with Goodwill Industries of Alberta to process materials — supporting meaningful employment in the community. Every drop-off is tracked and reported as part of our monthly environmental impact data.
