These Terms & Conditions ("
Agreement") govern participation in all Recycling is Dope programs, services, and digital platforms ("
Program"), including but not limited to:
- Consumer Services — drop-off locations, store locator, and public-facing recycling participation
- Retailer Membership Program — annual and monthly memberships, round-up revenue program, referral program
- Licensed Producer Services — waste audits, diversion programs, packaging recommendations
- Community & Events — community events, industry activations, Goodwill partnership programs
The Program is operated by Recycling is Dope, a division, brand, affiliate, nominee, trade name, or program of
2803363 Alberta Ltd., operating as [Re] Waste Recycling, or any successor entity, affiliate, nominee, or assign (collectively referred to as "
Recycling is Dope" or "
RID").
By using any Recycling is Dope service, website, drop-off location, enrolling in the Program, submitting payment, or checking the acceptance box during checkout, the User agrees to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Section 1
Program Overview
The Recycling is Dope Program provides cannabis retailers with a turnkey cannabis packaging recycling solution.
Program components may include:
- •Recycling bins
- •Collection services
- •Pre-paid shipping labels
- •Diversion and sustainability reporting
- •Marketing materials
- •National retailer locator listing
- •Customer round-up revenue programs
- •Staff onboarding and training
- •Customer engagement initiatives
Recycling is Dope reserves the right to improve, modify, expand, replace, suspend, or discontinue Program components from time to time. Participation in the Program does not guarantee any specific diversion rate, recycling volume, revenue amount, customer participation level, or business outcome.
Section 1E
“Show Us Your Drop” — Community Giveaway Program
These terms govern the “Show Us Your Drop” Monthly Community Giveaway (the “Contest”), operated by Recycling is Dope, a division of 2803363 Alberta Ltd. operating as [Re] Waste Recycling (“Sponsor”). The Contest is open to two categories of entrants: Dope Consumers (cannabis consumers who use participating drop-off locations) and Dope Store Employees (employees of participating cannabis retail locations). By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Contest Terms.
Contest Period & Schedule
(a) The Contest runs monthly. Each entry period opens on the first (1st) day of the calendar month and closes at 11:59 p.m. MT on the last day of the same month (“Entry Period”).
(b) Prize draws are conducted within ten (10) business days following the close of each Entry Period. Separate draws are held for the Dope Consumer category and the Dope Store Employee category.
(c) Recycling is Dope reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend, or modify any Contest period upon notice posted to
recyclingisdope.ca.
Eligibility
(a) The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the minimum legal age to purchase cannabis in their province or territory of residence (see Section 18 for provincial age requirements).
(b) Entrants must be physically present at a participating Recycling is Dope retail drop-off location at the time the photo is taken.
(c) Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Recycling is Dope, [Re] Waste Recycling, or any affiliated entity are not eligible to enter the Dope Consumer draw. Store employees of participating retail locations are eligible only for the Dope Store Employee category, not the Dope Consumer draw.
(d) Each individual may submit one (1) entry per Contest period. Duplicate or multiple entries by the same individual will result in all entries being disqualified.
(e) No purchase necessary. Purchase does not improve odds of winning.
How to Enter
(a) Scan the Recycling is Dope QR code displayed at a participating retail location to access the “Show Us Your Drop” submission page.
(b) Select your entry category (“Dope Consumer” or “Dope Store Employee”).
(c) Submit a photo of yourself at the Recycling is Dope drop-off location along with your name, email address, and, if applicable, your store location.
(d) By submitting, you confirm you are of legal cannabis purchasing age in your province or territory and agree to all Contest Terms, the User-Generated Content License (Section 17), and the Age Verification provisions (Section 18) of these Terms & Conditions.
(e) Entries submitted with incomplete information, inappropriate content, or that do not comply with these terms will be disqualified without notice.
Monthly Prize
One (1) prize is awarded per monthly draw in each category (Dope Consumer and Dope Store Employee). The prize is selected at the sole discretion of Recycling is Dope, changes monthly, and is valued at up to $100 CAD.
Monthly prize options may include, but are not limited to:
- •Gift card to a participating cannabis retailer (up to $100)
- •RID merchandise (branded t-shirt, tote bag, sticker pack)
- •Prepaid Visa gift card
- •Licensed cannabis brand swag pack
Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent. Recycling is Dope reserves the right to substitute the monthly prize with an item of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
Winner Selection & Notification
(a) Winners are selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. The draw is conducted by an authorized Recycling is Dope representative.
(b) Potential winners will be notified by email at the address provided at the time of entry within ten (10) business days of the draw date.
(c) The potential winner must respond to the notification email within five (5) business days to claim their prize. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture and a new winner may be selected.
(d) Winners may be required to provide proof of age and identity prior to prize fulfillment.
(e) Recycling is Dope’s decisions on all matters related to the Contest are final and binding.
(f) Winners consent to the use of their name, photo, and general location for Contest-related promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Contest Rules
(a) Recycling is Dope is not responsible for lost, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or corrupted entries.
(b) Recycling is Dope reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant who submits false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
(c) This Contest is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws. Void where prohibited by law.
(d) Recycling is Dope is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any cannabis retailer, licensed producer, or government body in connection with this Contest, unless expressly stated.
(e) By entering, entrants release Recycling is Dope, its affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from all claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
Section 17
User-Generated Content & Media License
These terms apply to any individual who submits a photograph, video, image, or other content (“User Content”) through any Recycling is Dope platform, QR code, contest entry, social media tag, or community submission.
Grant of License
(a) By submitting User Content, you grant Recycling is Dope a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, publish, broadcast, sub-license, and create derivative works from your User Content, in any media format now known or later developed, including but not limited to social media, website, digital advertising, email marketing, print materials, out-of-home advertising, broadcast media, and promotional merchandise.
(b) Recycling is Dope may use your User Content for any commercial or non-commercial purpose related to the promotion of the Recycling is Dope Program, cannabis packaging recycling awareness, or environmental sustainability initiatives, without further notice or compensation to you.
(c) Recycling is Dope reserves the right to crop, edit, filter, enhance, caption, overlay, composite, or otherwise alter User Content at its sole discretion. You waive any moral rights in the User Content to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
(d) You acknowledge that Recycling is Dope is under no obligation to use, publish, or credit any User Content submitted.
Likeness & Image Rights
(a) By submitting User Content that includes your image, likeness, voice, name, or other personal identifiers, you grant Recycling is Dope the irrevocable right to use your likeness and personal identifiers for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes as described in this Section, without additional compensation.
(b) If your submission includes the likeness of any third party, you represent and warrant that you have obtained written permission from that individual (or their legal guardian if under the age of majority) to grant the rights described herein. You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary third-party consents prior to submission.
(c) You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Recycling is Dope and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the use of any third-party likeness contained in your User Content.
Your Representations & Warranties
(a) You are the original creator or rights holder of the User Content, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.
(b) The User Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, or any other right of any third party.
(c) The User Content does not contain any defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise objectionable material.
(d) The User Content was captured at a lawful cannabis retail location and complies with all applicable provincial cannabis retail regulations regarding photography and social media.
(e) You are of the minimum legal age to purchase cannabis in your province or territory of residence, as set out in Section 18 of these Terms & Conditions.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability for User Content
Recycling is Dope does not pre-screen or moderate all User Content prior to publication. While we reserve the right to remove any User Content at our sole discretion, we are not obligated to do so.
Recycling is Dope is not responsible for User Content submitted by individuals who misrepresent their age, identity, or eligibility. Any individual who submits User Content expressly acknowledges that they are of the minimum legal age to be present at a cannabis retail location in their province, and accepts sole responsibility for the accuracy of that representation.
Recycling is Dope disclaims all liability for any legal claim, regulatory action, or third-party complaint arising from User Content submitted by individuals who have misrepresented their age, identity, or the circumstances surrounding the submission.
Section 18
Age Verification & Cannabis Legal Age Compliance
Because Recycling is Dope drop-off locations are operated exclusively within licensed cannabis retail stores, participation in the Show Us Your Drop program requires that all entrants be of the minimum legal age to purchase cannabis in their province or territory of residence.

Age requirements reflect provincial and territorial cannabis legislation as of the Effective Date. Entrants are responsible for verifying the current minimum age in their jurisdiction.
Age Acknowledgements
(a) By submitting any entry, photo, or content through a Recycling is Dope platform, you expressly represent, warrant, and confirm that you are of the minimum legal age to enter a cannabis retail store and to purchase cannabis products in your province or territory of residence.
(b) You understand and agree that Recycling is Dope operates exclusively within licensed cannabis retail locations, and that your presence at such a location as an entrant constitutes a representation that you are of legal age to be there under applicable law.
(c) Any entrant who misrepresents their age is solely responsible for that misrepresentation and all consequences arising from it. Recycling is Dope bears no liability for content submitted by an individual who has made a false age representation.
(d) Recycling is Dope reserves the right to request government-issued photo identification to verify age prior to prize fulfillment. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of age will result in forfeiture of the prize.
IMPORTANT: Recycling is Dope is not responsible for any legal, regulatory, or reputational consequences arising from the submission of content by individuals who have misrepresented their age or who are not lawfully present at a cannabis retail location. By submitting content, you acknowledge and accept sole and personal liability for any such misrepresentation.
Section 19
Contest Administration & Governing Rules
These provisions apply to all Recycling is Dope contests, giveaways, community draws, and promotional programs, including the Show Us Your Drop Monthly Giveaway.
Administrative Terms
(a) Governing Law: All Recycling is Dope contests are governed by the laws of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute must be resolved exclusively in the Courts of Edmonton, Alberta.
(b) Quebec Residents: This Contest may be subject to additional regulatory requirements under the Act Respecting Lotteries, Publicity Contests and Amusement Machines (Quebec). Quebec residents may contact

(c) Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes, duties, or other government levies associated with acceptance of a prize.
(d) Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with the Contest is used to administer the Contest, notify winners, and (with your consent) for Recycling is Dope marketing communications. Information is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA. Contest participants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting
hello@recyclingisdope.ca.
(e) Release: By entering the Contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless Recycling is Dope, [Re] Waste Recycling, 2803363 Alberta Ltd., their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, sponsors, and successors from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Contest, or from the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
(f) Modification & Cancellation: Recycling is Dope reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any Contest at any time if, in its sole judgment, the Contest is impaired by events beyond its control, including fraud, technical failures, or events compromising integrity. In such event, Recycling is Dope may select winners from eligible entries received prior to the cancellation date.
(g) Records: A list of prize winners for any completed Contest period is available upon written request to
hello@recyclingisdope.ca for sixty (60) days following the applicable prize draw.
Acknowledgement
By checking the acceptance box during enrollment, the Retailer confirms that:
☑They have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
☑They are authorized to bind the Retailer.
☑The Program is a twelve (12) month commitment.
☑The full Program Fee remains payable regardless of cancellation.
☑They authorize recurring payment processing.
☑The Program automatically renews annually unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.
☑If selecting Monthly Financing, they agree to the Personal Guarantee provisions in Section 8.
Community Contest & Content Acknowledgements
☑I am of the minimum legal age to purchase cannabis in my province or territory, and I am lawfully permitted to be present at a cannabis retail location.
☑By submitting a photo or video, I grant Recycling is Dope a perpetual, royalty-free license to use my submission, image, and likeness for marketing, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes as set out in Section 17.
☑I accept sole responsibility for any misrepresentation of my age or identity, and I release Recycling is Dope from all liability arising from such misrepresentation, as set out in Sections 17 and 18.
☑I have read and agree to the Show Us Your Drop Contest Terms (Section 1E), the User-Generated Content & Media License (Section 17), and the Age Verification provisions (Section 18) of this Agreement.
